German Presidency hopes to strike agreement on fruit and vegetables in June 2007- Other German Presidency priorities

Brussels, 05/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - When it comes to farming, the German Presidency of the EU Council of Ministers until the end of June 2007 is hoping to strike agreement in June on reforming the fruit and vegetable industry. The German Presidency also wants to launch debate on draft legislation to revise the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the wine and spirits industry, and get EU farm ministers to reach agreement on new labelling measures for wines and spirits and the production...
