As part of its new trade policy for the EU (see EUROPE 9278), on 6 December, the Commission adopted a Green Paper on Community trade protection instruments (see EUROPE 9322). The Green Paper is to be put out to public consultation. Stakeholders have three months to respond to the general thrust of the Commission's proposals.
