Commission said to be tabling on creation of national supervisory bodies to settle disputes between airports and air carriers over airport charges

Brussels, 08/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - Strengthening transparency and improving consultation between the operators concerned: such are the aims of the long-awaited proposal for a European Commission directive on airport charges. In principle, the proposal should be adopted on 20 December, when it presents its airport package that also includes a proposal for a directive on airport efficiency. Nothing, however, can be less certain given that adoption of this package, reduced to two proposals...
