08/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission announced its intention to adopt, on Tuesday 12 December, its annual report on progress made in implementing the Lisbon Strategy on growth and employment. The report will contain an overall assessment of economic reforms underway across the EU, as well as country specific recommendations. It will be forwarded to the Spring European Council in March 2007. (hb)
