08/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - Danish Socialist MEP Poul Nyrup Rasmussen was unanimously re-elected President of the Party of European Socialists at the PES' Congress in Oporto, Portugal, on 7 and 8 December. Rasmussen, who was prime minister of Denmark from 1993 to 2001, has already served a two and a half year term at the helm of the PES. (oj)
