30/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Swiss Steel AG of Switzerland by Scmolz+Bickenbach KG (S+B) of Germany. S+B produces and distributes speciality surgical products. Swiss Steel produces carbon steel and speciality steel products. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
