Commission opens in-depth investigation into acquisition of Alcatel Alenia Space and Telespazio by Thalès

Brussels, 30/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has opened an in-depth investigation into the acquisition by French company Thalès of Alcatel's shareholdings in two space joint ventures, Alcatel Alenia Space (AAS) of France and Telespazio of Italy, currently jointly controlled by Alcatel and Finmeccanica.
