06/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - According to data published on 6 November by Eurostat, the industrial producer prices index was down by 0.5% in the euro area in September 2006 compared to August 2006. In the EU25, prices fell by 0.7%. In August, prices had increased by 0.1% in the euro area and by 0.2% in the EU25. In September 2006 compared to September 2005, industrial producer prices rose by 4.6% in the euro area and by 5.0% in the EU25. (ol)
