Brussels, 03/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - Debate at the meeting of the Ecofin Council on 7 November will be dominated by two legislative proposals in the area of taxation, one on the minimum levels of excise duties on alcoholic drinks and the other on duty-free allowances for travellers entering the European Union. EU finance ministers will also adopt conclusions on economic policy statistics and on the viability of public finances.
