Dimitrios Dimitriadis to be elected President of European Economic and Social Committee next week - Agenda for meeting

Brussels, 23/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European economic and Social Committee (EESC) will hold its 13th quadrennial inaugural plenary session in Brussels on 24-26 October. At this session, Greek Dimitrios Dimitriadis (employers' group) will be elected President of the next two years. The plenary session will also elect the Bureau, the two Vice-Presidents and the Presidents of the EESC's specialised units.
