Brussels, 03/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - In August 2006, the rate of unemployment in the euro zone reached 7.9%, up from 7.8% in July and 8.5% in the same period of 2005. In the EU of 25, it rose to 8.0%, unchanged from the previous month and down on the result of August 2005, when it stood at 8.7%.
