Report on adoption of energy efficiency action plan causes discontent at European Parliament

Strasbourg, 28/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The report on the adoption of the Commission's action plan on energy efficiency, initially foreseen before the summer but deferred till 27 September, is the cause of grumbling among MEPs (EUROPE 9274). In a letter addressed to President Barroso, who must agree on a new date for adoption of the report with Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs, the members of the parliamentary platform for an “intelligent energy for Europe” called on the Commission...
