GENERAL NEWS / (eu) car parts

The Japanese company ASAHI TEC, specialist in car part drilling and aluminium wheels, has acquired the US firm METALDYNE ($2.2 bn in annual turnover, workforce of 7500), for $1.2 bn. METALDYNE was 46% controlled by divertissement fund HEARTLAND INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS.
