VIRGIN ACTIVE, the sports hall network of the British company, VIRGIN, has bought out a its rival HOLMES PLACE for £650 million though BRIDGEPOINT and PERMIRA, investment companies. The new group emerging from this operation will have 150 sport complexes in the United Kingdom and 15 in the rest of Europe, with 900,000 members. 7000 employees and a turnover of £265 million.
