In Sweden, OPICA AB, a firm controlled by investment fund APAX (56%) and NORDIC CAPITAL (44%), have launched a hostile takeover bid of 15.6 billion Swedish Crowns (SEK), €153 SEK per share, for the clinical CAPIO group (annual turnover of 12.5 billion SEK). The board of governors of the latter has rejected the offer, considering too low.
