05/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Monday evening the Commission received the restructuring plans for the shipyards of Gdynia, Gdansk and Szczecin, which it had been waiting for in order to assess the aid paid out by local and central Polish authorities (EUROPE 9257). The Commission pointed out in a press release that if aid is to be authorised, restructuring plans should demonstrate the economic viability of the shipyards.
