23/08/2006 (Agence Europe) - Development Commission Louis Michel welcomed the results of the inter-Togo dialogue and the signing of a global political agreement which he describes as not being limited to elections but which also “tackles real problems that led to crisis in the country”. He describes this as a “fundamental step towards national and sustainable reconciliation” which could “rapidly lead to the normalisation of cooperation between Togo and the EU”
