Brussels, 17/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - Short Sea Shipping in the EU is doing well, but more has to be done to promote it. That is the conclusion of a European Commission mid-term review for the programme for the promotion of short sea shipping, adopted by written procedure on 13 July. The review evaluated the results of the 14 actions that were introduced in 2003.
