17/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 17 July, the European Commission organised a public hearing to discuss the preliminary results of its inquiry into competition in the retail banking sector in the EU with a view to possibly presenting initiatives to increase the currently very limited banking mobility after consultation with those interested. EUROPE will come back to this.
