GENERAL NEWS / (eu) pes/social

05/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Lisbon Network of the Party of European Socialists (PES) is meeting in Helsinki on 6 July, just before the informal Social Council (see programme in EUROPE 9219), under the presidency of the former German Finance Minister, Hans Eichel. The main theme on the agenda will be flexicurity, with the PES hoping to make a contribution at the informal summit of Lahti on 20 October, which will focus on this issue.
