WEU Assembly hopes for more cooperation on defence research - in favour of creating an international nuclear fuel bank

Paris, 29/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - During its plenary session in Paris last week, the WEU Assembly called on the European states to “cooperate to a greater extent on security and defence research and technological development (RTD) programmes” in order to avoid “unnecessary duplication and dispersal of budgetary resources”.
