23/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of AB Sanitas (Sanitas).of Lithuania by Citigroup Venture Capital International Jersey Limited (CVCI) of Jersey, the Channel Islands, and Amber Trust II SCA (Amber) of Luxembourg. Sanitas produces and sells pharmaceuticals. The deal was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
