Commission makes first contribution of €105 million to Temporary International Mechanism for Palestinians

Brussels, 23/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission announced its intention to make a contribution of €105 million to the Temporary International Mechanism (TIM) for the Palestinians. This mechanism will facilitate the direct delivery of assistance to the Palestinian people, bypassing the Hamas-dominated government of the Palestinian Authority.
