Brussels, 22/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission decided to launch a formal investigation into a Belgian state aid scheme to provide R&D aid for aeronautical companies. In addition, the Commission has launched an investigation into aid granted under this scheme to the company Techspace Aero because of doubts about the terms upon which loans provided by the state under the scheme would be repaid.
