Brussels, 16/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 16 June, EU Heads of State and Government decided to extend the reflection period on the European Constitution with the aim of reaching a final decision on the institutional future of the European Union by the second half of 2008 at the latest. The real preparatory work on a new text will only begin a the end of the first half of 2007 - after the elections in France and the Netherlands - when Germany, which will by then hold the EU Presidency, is due...
