Parliament takes firmer line against racist, xenophobic and homophobic violence and urges Member States to apply 2001 Framework Decision

Strasbourg, 16/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, Members of the European Parliament adopted a resolution regretting the rise of racist, xenophobic and homophobic violence in Europe and regretting that the Council has been unable to adopt the 2001 Council Framework Decision on combatting racism and xenophobia.
