Commission clears takeover of bearing manufacturer SNFA by competitor SKF

Brussels, 07/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the proposed takeover of French company SNFA S.A.S. by the Swedish firm Aktiebolaget Svenska Kullagerfabriken (“SKF”). The two companies manufacture anti-friction bearings. SKF is a publicly listed company and a leading producer of anti-friction bearings, seals and lubrication systems world-wide.
