With four abstentions, Ministers adopt conclusions on European indicator of linguistic competence

Brussels, 22/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 19 May, EU Education Ministers adopted conclusions on the European indicator of linguistic competence, an initiative of the 2002 Barcelona European Council, to give Member States reliable data on adjustments that might be necessary in their education system with regard to foreign language learning.
