SARA LEE, the American group, has sold its British subsidiary COURTAULDS (turnover 300 million pounds sterling in year ending 2005, just over 5,000 employees) to PD ENTERPRISES LTD. established in Hong Kong. The latter manufactures 120 million items per year in 9 factories.
