ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

SFR, a subsidiary of mobile telephone group VIVENDI, and the LOUIS DREYFUS group have increased their share in the capital of NEUF CEGETEL, remaining the reference shareholders, from 28% to 35% by buying TELECOM ITALIA and the SWISS CREDIT bank shares. The transaction values NEUF CEGETEL, which is planning stock market floatation in the autumn, at 3.2 billion euro.
