Lowri Evans deputy Director-General in charge of State aid

Brussels, 10/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission appointed Lowri Evans to the position of deputy Director-General within Directorate General Competition. She will be responsible for monitoring State aid. Ms Evans, 48, who is from the United Kingdom, has been in the position of deputy Director-General in charge of mergers since December 2005.
