Inauguration of renewable house in Brussels

Brussels, 03/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 22 March in Brussels the Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso and European Commissioners Margot Wallström and Stavros Dimas inaugurated the Renewable Energy House, which brought together eleven European energy associations together: the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC), the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC), the European Biomass Association (EUBIA European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA), European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF) and European Wind Energy Association (EWEA). The Renewable Energy House wants to be a “100% renewable energy building”, indicated the press release. (Info: (Info: erec@erec-renewables.org Site: http://www.erec-renewables.org ).
