03/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of TBIH Financial Services Group N.V. (TBIH) of the Netherlands by Wiener Städtische Allgemeine Versicherung AG (Wiener Städtische) of Austria. Other shareholders include MidOcean Partners (MidOcean) of the US and Englefield Capital LLP (Englefield) of the UK. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
