EU enlargement strategy: Parliament majority approves line proposed by Rapporteur Elmar Brok

On 16 March in Strasbourg, the European Parliament approved by 395 votes to 95 and 37 abstentions the strategy that its rapporteur, Elmar Brok, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, is proposing for future European Union enlargements (for the debate and vote, see EUROPE 9152 and 9153).
