CER says road/rail complementarity is needed

Brussels, 15/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The growth in goods transport in Europe cannot solely be borne by road transport. It is therefore necessary to use all the advantages provided by the different methods of transport: rail for long haul and road for short haul.
