Neelie Kroes speaks of Commission's vigilance to ensure respect of internal market rules

Strasbourg, 15/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - “Europe thrives from breaking down barriers between Member States not by erecting them”, Neelie Kroes said addressing the European Parliament on Wednesday afternoon. “The Commission will always look with concern at any attempt by national governments, directly or indirectly, to interfere unduly in the process of cross-border corporate restructuring in Europe”, the Competition Commissioner said, fearing the result of Member State intervention...
