Parliament raises MEPs and citizens' awareness about German MEP D. Koch's initiative on “first aid”

Brussels, 09/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - On the initiative of Dieter-Lebrecht Koch MEP(EPP-ED, Germany), the Red Cross Office/European Union demonstrated on Thursday, at the European Parliament in Brussels, what were the first steps in first aid to give in the event of a road accident. They called on citizens, and MEPs to follow first aid training courses and for national authorities to organise awareness campaigns.
