16/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday evening, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling on the Bush Administration to close down the Guantanamo Bay detention centre where 500 persons suspected of terrorism have been held for four years undergoing degrading treatment amounting to torture. EUROPE will come back to this debate and to the resolution presented by five political groups: EPP-ED, PES, ALDE, Greens/EFA and GUE/NGL.
