16/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Union has extended until 27 February 2007 the sanctions (freeze on assets and visa ban) imposed on 17 leaders (mostly Russian) of the Transnistria region of Moldova. The Council decision was published in the Official Journal L44 of 15 February 2006.
