27/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - A debate on the future of democracy, peace and human rights in Nepal will be held on 1 February in Brussels, a year to the day after the coup d'état of King Gyanendra. Two discussion panels will bring together representatives of NGOs, journalists and diplomats, including the personal representative of Javier Solana for human rights, Michael Matthiessen. The meeting is organised by Europe External Policy Advisors (EEPA). A support demonstration will be organised at Schuman roundabout after the seminar in the presence of European and Nepalese representatives for development and human rights organisations.
