27/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its blessing to plans by venture capital company Carlyle Europe Partners II LP (United States) and Providence Equity Offshore Partners V LP, based in the Cayman Islands, to take joint control of Nordic Communication Services AB. This company currently belongs to Com Hem, Sweden's main cable operator. The operation was examined under the simplified procedure.
