Picasso family loses case against DaimlerChrysler over use of 'Picaro'

Luxembourg, 13/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - Spanish painter Pablo Picasso's heirs have lost their case to try and stop car manufacturer Daimler-Chrysler from using the name 'Picaro' for one of its cars or vans. The family appealed to the European Court of Justice, which confirmed that Daimler-Chrysler owned the Picaro trademark and was free to use it as it saw fit.
