05/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - The euro zone business climate indicator for December rose again, after a slight fall in November, thus maintaining a level higher than its long-term average since September 2005. All the components of the European Commission's DG Ecfin indicator reflect this rise, with a particularly strong increase among industrialists with regard to output and order books, including for export. The euro zone economic sentiment indicator has also shown a slight rise (+0.1 point) after a fall the previous month. Consumers and those in the industry and retail sectors showed the most positive assessment and expectations in December 2005, while, in the construction and service sectors, there was a decline.
