Teheran hopes to resume nuclear research on 9 January

Brussels, 04/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has confirmed that his country intends to resume its nuclear research activity. “In a letter to Mohammed ElBaradei (the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA), “we announced that we wish to carry out research in nuclear technology”, the president said on Iranian television on Tuesday evening, adding that Iran “will move forward along the nuclear road, patiently, wisely and according to a...
