TNT of the Netherlands has put its logistics operation (4.14 billion euro turnover representing 32.5 of its business) up for sale. The sale could net 1.5 billion euro. Elsewhere, TNT has acquired the Spanish company TG+ (annual turnover 120 million euro and 2,600 employees). This purchase should allow TNT to increase its turnover in Spain to 250 million euro in 2006.
