05/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - Under Point A of the agenda, the Competitiveness Council adopted a decision on 28 November on the signing of an aviation agreement between the EU and Ukraine, to bring bilateral agreements between Ukraine and EU Member States into line with EU law (see Europe 9780 on outcome of recent Summit in Kiev). The Commission entered talks in September this year on opening up the EU and Ukrainian aviation markets and boosting regulatory cooperation (see Europe 9036).
