European Commission provides more aid for election process

Brussels, 14/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission decided to grant a further EUR 60 mil in aid for the election process over the transition period in the Democratic Republic of Congo (a former Belgian colony), in addition to the initial allocation of €89 million in 2004.
