Commission clears acquisition of Amena by France Télécom

Brussels, 26/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the proposed acquisition of Spanish mobile telecommunications operator Amena by the French telecommunications operator France Télécom. France Télécom is a global telecommunications operator active in various segments of the telecoms services market. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Orange S.A., France Télécom provides mobile telecommunication services in several European countries but not in Spain. Amena is...
