26/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - By a few votes (318 to 299 with 24 abstentions), the European Parliament on Wednesday urged the European Commission to appeal against patent EP1257168 issued by the European Patent Office in Munich. The deadline for lodging appeals is 2 November 2005. Europe will return to this.
