Commission orders repayment of illegal aid to Componenta Corporation (Finland)

Brussels, 25/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to order repayment of EUR 2.4 million in subsidies to the Finnish company, Componenta Corporation. Based in Karkkila, Finland, Componenta Corporation manufactures ready-to-install cast, geared and machined components. In 2004, the Commission had received a complaint alleging that the city of Karkkila's purchase of Componenta's stake in the real estate company, Karkkilan Keskustakiinteistöt Oy, for the sum of EUR 2.4 million,...
